Manufacturing dies for sheet metal
The wide range of state-of-the-art machine tools available in our advanced engineering department allows us to design and manufacture every die for mechanical and hydraulic presses, with power ranging from 35 to 1200t, obtaining great precision and satisfying any request or need.
Dished Ends
Metalpress is highly specialised in the manufacture of dished ends and we use a variety of tools of different types and diameters. Our bottoms are made in accordance with standards DIN 28011 and DIN 28013 regarding decinormal-torispherical and pseudo-elliptical bottoms, also classed as bottom type D and bottom type E.
Metalpress carries out the whole die manufacturing process autonomously and is also able to produce bottoms for metal containers, or any other detail, in accordance with the customer’s plans.
Flared bottoms, flanges
The different types of products offered by Metalpress include flared bottoms, where flaring can be carried out in the centre of the bottom or decentralised by assessing its position. Flanges are also made according to customers’ plans through our original automated systems and can be seamed automatically, guaranteeing perfect anchorage to the bottom.
